Flames Or Letters

right now i have the blue flame but when i got this one i had it sit for a year before i installed it. when i got around to it. i found there were 2 little pieces about 2 inches long from behind the rear door to the box that were missing. when i contacted the eBay seller he was already out of business.

So im gonna be replacing the whole stipe in order to fix the problem.

Should i just do Blue flame again. Blue is my accent colour in the engine bay and interior.

or should i go with the Chrome harley letters off the newer harley trucks

Really? Its the Internet take it easy.

i wouldn't do a chrome sticker. the letters are off the super duty and new Harleys. raised lettering

i also cant do the all black either as the flames have left ghosting over the 8 years they were on there.

I've always liked blue flames on black vehicles. When I get my F150 painted I'm going with airbrushed alcohol flames

Wet sand and polish to help with ghosting?

I know the letters but what about getting them sprayed with a transparent blue or even around the edges? Or a blue transparent tint/ film layed over?
Or airbrush the edges with a blue/clear coat mix?

Chrome to blue transition on the letters?

i just want something relativity cheap for now. if those pieces on each side were there i would be leaving it alone. and no one locally can match and want like 50$ for the little piece missing.
i will be getting a paint job once i can save enough and stop spending on other stuff.

I like the blue flame. BUT, it needs another colour to help it stand out. Or, when you paint it, have ghost flames in dark blue. JMO

Gerry

Wright it in script, Wrap it in blue, and Drop it in the winners circle!
