side step homemade

hello everyone, i wan't to make a pair of side step bars but for the welding cutting or others is not a problem.

I just wan't to say where is attached on the body, do you have a photo for showing me the fixation on the body that's helpfull for me...

I think you definitely want to attach that to the frame, not the body. Google "rock sliders" to get some ideas.

body or frame is the same for me but it's not allowed to drill the chassis for the inspection

The westins actually attach to the body but have a support bar that goes to the frame

there should be factory holes already in the frame have a look and see if they will line up for mounting points

keep in mind the body is bolted to the frame but both flex differently the body moves on the rubber mounts.



2007 F350 6.0L Ext cab short box 4x4
2000 F150 5.4L Reg cab short box 2wd

yes that's why i demand a photo to see if there is rubber or not or others part i made others side step for my older nissan terrano 2 and it's just attach on the frame..
