2000 ford f150 XL 4x4 triton v8 nothing works

Hi.. I parked my ford last night like I usually do and I woke up this morning for work I started the truck and notice that all the guage needles went to high, then I I tried to shift from park to drive and it wouldn't allow me to shift, then I tried my 4x4 that would not engage either, my wipers, radio, signals and interior lights don't work .how can all this just stop working from last night. any suggestions from all the experts out there.
thanks

sounds like something at the core of power distribuation

there's a box full of relays and fuses under the hood of most newer stuff - your's would be the flat top box by the brake master cylinder

possiably a bad fuse or relay - maybe a short - could be salty water in the box somehow

just a guess / shot in the dark but I'd start by lookin there

2x but with one thing to check first. Check the grounds first. Give the ground bolts a small turn tighter. 1/8~1/4 turn should do it.

Everything is located behind the left side of the dash. GEM, CTM...
