BAD VIIIIIIIIIBRATION!!!!!!!

my 03 supercrew 4x4 has an intermitant vibration at any speed. When it happens it is so severe you think you eyes are gonna vibrate out of your head.Suspect rear end as it is definately in the back. U-joints are fine and it happens even when I tried my winter tires . Rear end is LS 3:73, any ideas? or any one had a similar problem?

bad vibration

my 03 supercrew has an intermitent vibration that will shake you right out of the truck. It happens at any speed, and I have to stop. Once I start again it seems fine. It is in the rear and suspect the rear diff is the problem. It is LS with 3:73's . Has any one had any similar issues ? The truck has 80k on it.

i wonder if the LS is buggering up. might want to drain the oil and replace with new and a friction modifier for the LS.

I had the drive shaft out & checked , u-joints all ok and I did change the 75w/140 to the ford friction lube, but sill having the same problem. There were small filings on the magnet on the fill plug.

check you tires.. you might have a twisted belt in it which happens a lot with snow tires, change back you regular tires to eliminate at least 1 variable

did you pull the u-joints right off and check them or just check for play? they sometimes will seize up and cause a vibration maybe pull the driveshaft out and try moving them and see if they are seized
