I wouldn't install aftermarket torsion "KEYS" although there a cheap way to get some lift you will be putting too much preload on the bars and getting too much angle on the CV's with them and getting a really crappy ride if you want to just level it out you can just adjust your factory torsion bars just watch your angles (don't go too extreme) and make sure to get an alignment afterwards

Remember too much angle and you will tear the CV boots and cause added wear on the CV's and ball joint's

IMO you pay for what you get

Found this on F150online:
"just crank up the torsion bars to the top the crank them back down 2 complete turns this will give you more than level and you can clear up to 33" tires! why pay the money for something you can do for free? plus all the extra money that you have to spend when your CV joins and ball joints go in the crapper because the bad angles! just my .02"

Would it be to extreme?

I had my torsion bars cranked for years before I lifted my truck I wouldn't recommend cranking them past 27 degrees or you will wear out your CV's and possibly tear the boots as well as well as wear your ball joints faster, and most likely your ride will be too harsh.

BTW, I am still running my factory CV's

True and you can fit 35's on with a torsion bar crank and a body lift but it depends on what look you like
