Nobody makes a long travel suspension kit for the 97-03 trucks that I know of so the only way to do it is to get a shop to build you a custom suspension and that will be big bucks.

You could just do a body lift and try and find some air bumps that would fit but just don't beat on it too hard cause the stock suspension pieces were not designed for that kind of abuse.

I know how you feel, I want a Raptor too but they are too expensive.

$ is $ and if you want to do somthin to your ride like, make it into a raptor lookalike well then, but dont do somthin to your truck and then look at it and think if i just put another 2gs into it i would have what i wanted..... just saying......

Looking at this pic of the Raptor
http://blogs.cars.com/photos/uncateg...aptorintro.jpg

(Note--it COULD be doable with OEM parts, but I have no idea of the prices or if they even fit our trucks, so I am assuming all aftermarket)

It shouldnt be THAT hard of a project....I already have a similar wheel look on my 99 with stock wheels and mudder tires--so you would need rims ($1,000)

Fender flares are pretty common aftermarket pieces, as are the step bars--just find something close (THAT could be fun ;-) --another $1,000 give-or-take

Headlights--you would just have to find something similar in the aftermarket, $500 max. Same with the mirrors.

For the grill, I would just have an insert made out of stainless or aluminum to mount over the existing grill. CNC layout and cutting could run a few hundred or up to $1500 depending on the shop and if the want the work, or want to price it so high they dont have to bother with it.

The real bear would be the bumper/air dam. For that you would probably have to make a mold then your own fiberglass part. Only a couple hundred max, but a WACK of work (I am an old Fiero guy--I know allllll about the joys of custom glass ;-) )

That would get you a truck thats close-but-not-exact, but would pass for a Raptor to the casual observer for well under $5k.
