jet performance chips ?

I did a search but didn't find anything. I am thinking about adding a Jet stage 1 chip to my 01 f150,4.6. I will have my magnaflow exhaust and k&n cold air intake by then as well. Anyone ever use these chips? and did you get any more performance out of it? I pull a camper and gear in the summer and some times up hills,so looking for any boost I can get for a resonable price. thx.

Why not just get a tuner or even better custom tunes

To each his own I was just suggesting to pm smokefan as I'm pretty sure he was running a bully dog before he got rid of his f150. And if someone else is wondering the same thing then they should open there mouth and ask instead of reading what everyone else post.

I had one of those "modules/chips" on my 93 ranger...can't say that i noticed a difference..think it was made by Hypertech...So in that i agree with SKRWZ, the tuner is a better product by far, even with canned tunes...and probably not much more expensive. Most, if not all of the people here run tuners...There's a reason for that Good luck with whatever route you decide.
