5 speed fluid ??

I have a 98 f 150 4x4, 4.6 ,5 speed R2 trans . I want to know what kind of fluid to use ? I know its automatic fluid and its full synthetic in it right now. could i use a addative in it like GM syco shift or something like it ?? for smother shifts ??

I have tried them all. Finally went back to synthetic ATF.

just the mercon synth will work,if your having shift concerns may be time for new syncros.
