Anyone seen this recall????

According to a recent news story, only 60% of owners of recalled vehicles for the cruise control brake sensor fire issue have actually done the recall.
Please check if you have a 1997-2003 Ford F150 to make sure your sensor has been replaced by the new one, or your truck is at risk for fire even while sitting in the driveway. An F150 is a terrible thing to waste.
You can check online at:

http://www.ford.com/owner-services/c...ll-information

My truck is getting the new replacement tomorrow at the dealer!
Also i heard at the dealer today that this has been an issue on 04's and up aswell? Might be worth looking into!

I changed mine on my 96 before I got the recall. It also caused consequential damage to my master cylinder when it burned. I called Ford when I got the recal letter to explain that I already did the repair, and I wanted a new Master Cylinder. After wasting a ton of my time on the phone and, taking my truck to the dealership etc. I got nothing from Ford. I am not impressed, since the resovoir on my master has a huge burn mark on it, and I should have been reimbursed for my costs.
