2011 F150 Ecoboost on order-Questions

Hey folks

I have an F150 SuperCrew 4x4 on order, but I am having second thoughts about my choice of rear axle ratio.

It comes standard with the 3.31 but maybe I should have went with the 3.55.

It will be driven around town mostly, but we tow a camping trailer a few times a year, and will maybe upgrade to a bigger travel trailer at some point.

Also,is there a time frame in which you can make changes to your order?

Thanks-Shawn

Trailer towing, then you want at least a 3.55, if you will be towing much over 5000lbs on a regular basis, get the max tow with the 3.73 rear end ratio.

Garage
I'd say go for the 3.73's as well, but I wouldn't spend a whole lot of time debating about it if your order is already in....

I believe there might be a small window of opportunity to make changes, but I'm not sure how long it is - best talk to your sales guy and see if he can make it happen if that's the way you want to go.

Don't think you'll ever regret swapping out to the optional 3.73's, and now is the time, but, push come to shove, you can always have them installed after you take delivery.

Congrats on your new ride by the way, and welcome to fordtough.ca....nice to see another member from the area join up!
