Well, I jumped the fence!

There! I used to own a nice 2008 F250 Screw FX4 Long Box White. My wife didn't like it too much, so instead of splitting, I bought a brand new 2011 F150 Tuxedo Black FX4 Screw, with the EcoBoost. And I love it!!!

Sharp looking truck....congrats, the FX4 is a really well appointed ride!

Where did you score the grille? Another member posted not too long ago looking for that exact item for his Ecoboost.

Any plans to touch up those fasteners with some satin black ?

801A - 6550 lb bundle of joy

Yeah, I installed it on Friday night. My wife didn't like the first place I had put it on, so I had to modify it to fit there. Then, the firefighters decided that they had to test the fire hydrant that evening...! Then it was the mosquitoes and the other bugs.

I used some automotive paint from Dupli-color. It has the same shimmering that's in the paint of my Tuxedo Black.

I work in the Air Force, and that was a part that could have made it onto a Fighter jet. But as it turned out, it was only a template that was not approved for, so I fetched it from the metal shop, cut it to specs, painted it, framed it with a door trim protector, and there you have it!
