terrible reverse lights

Anyone else noticed how bad the back up ligts are on the new f-150s. Thinking of adding auxilary lights.. any comments or ideas?

Yup they suck so I added a set of 4 " round fog lights under the rear bumper that are 55 watt, sure makes a difference for backing up when it's raining or snowing.

just put a brighter bulb in. aux lights hanging down off the bumper look terrible on a new truck

I had those wired into a switch in the cab. I think they looked good, very functional too. I have some much smaller ones for the 150

VMP and 5-Star tuned no more

Buy a hybrid my truck needs your gas

looks like a work truck if thats the look your going for.

I know aguy who put HID is his reverse lights its awesome bright and still looks clean and stock.
I would jus add the LED bulbs.

But not everyone uses there truck as a " show truck " so us guys that put extra lights under the bumper are the guys that use the truck as a truck.

it doesn't have to be a show truck to look nice.

3 categories
work truck = ugly
normal truck = awesome
show truck = awesome.

and so you know mine is far from a show truck now.
good from far, far from good.
