I've seen lots of pics but haven't bothered to as of yet.

Lets see your setup

Garage

Someone was going to do it sooner or later.......

Maybe a little writeup on where you scooped it up and how easy the installation was would be a good addition as well.

Never hurts that's for sure.

If you have problems posting pics, sometimes the easiest thing to do is set up a free Photobucket account and post the IMG code.

Super easy to do.

Will this work with an Ecoboost, or just the 5.0L?

From what i've read.. the Ecoboost has a catch can already installed.. which is self draining.. but look into it.

I believe it's to keep oil from entering the intake. Sometimes oil can be sucked up thru the pvc. the pipe/tube is there for blow-by. It gets vaccum from the intake to suck out the blow-by gases out of the crank case or the top end. so excess pressure isn't built up to blow out the valve cover gasket.

someone correct me if I'm wrong..

edit..
I figure if it was a requirement.. it would be stock.. I'm sure they have thought of it.

Oil gets into the intake and actually lowers the octane level of the gas. This is more of a worry in performance engines like the Mustang and it actually gums up in the engine where it is burnt off. I have racing tunes and exhaust and an intake and I like to push the gas so I want to protect my engine as much as possible.
