2011 Back Seat Issue

Just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced anything like this...

I have a 2011 screw, just sold a 2009 screw. I thought the back seat stayed down until you released the handle underneath? and when in the "up position", it stayed there until you released the handle?

My '11, the seat doesn't secure in the down position like it does in the up position. It does not look even across the entire seat (larger part looks slightly higher than the smaller seat).

I am also getting a very annoying loud squeeking when someone is seated in the back.

I had it to the local dealer today and the said it's not supposed to clip in when in the down position. They also said it appears to be normal for the seat not to sit flat acrosss (one side is higher than the other). They are trying to locate the squeek. They think it may be the padding but not sure. They are taking it apart tomorrow.

Any ideas?

I have a 2010 screw and my seats do not in the down position either. When they are both down, however, they are level. Have had both big and small passengers and never heard a squeak.

No squeaks in my 2010 supercrew from the back seat, and the rear seat doesn't latch so you can lift it at any time, but it does latch when in the up position.

Weird...my 2011 SCAB rear seat does lock in both positions as your 2009 did. No squeaking either, and it sits flat.

They are only meant to lock in the upper position

Kind of an apples to oranges comparison though.... the Supercab seats are only half seats compared to the full seat Supercrew. +1 on latching down and up though, and 100% even.

I kinda figured the size would be different...but one would think the locking method would be consistent. Just kinda wierd that it would be different.
