wasnt expecting that one

well the transmission in my 2011 screw hit the shits, torque converter went to shit trans pretty much exploded, truck only has 30k never towed ONE thing with it =/ ford road side assistance was there within 15 min of me calling and towed it to my dealership of choice and drove me home. good thing for warranty! maybe i can get them to throw in a stall and a shift kit :P

Sorry to hear it, guess by the laws of averages it's bound to happen to someone somewhere, but not a common occurrence.

30,000 km in one year is some serious mileage for the average driver, keep the updates coming as to how Ford is going to approach your repair.

That really sucks azz hope everything turns out for you and Ford stands behind there warranty. My Dad had a 2009 Explorer sport trac with the 4.6 it only had 86km on it and the motor went in it, dropped a valve into the piston 3 days later the dealer called saying it was ready for pick up as they replaced the motor. He dealt it off for a 2010 F150 4x4

Did you have the tune in it at the time and what will they say if they find it? Good luck and hope things work out.

no warning just boom lol got it towed to team ford on southside of edmonton. I got some pretty good connections with that dealership plus my father worked for ford for 20+ years so im not to worried. I do run a tune on the truck but the last week or so i havent. just left the house to wash the truck got half way down the road and kaboom went the transmission.

The new car sales is not very good at team at least the last few times i went to buy something there but the service dept is good.

hope they get it all fixed up for you quickly.
