Currently running stock right now.
I thought about the E3 in my 2009. Never got around to looking them up or changing them.

thanks travis.I'm about due so will be doing some reseach, I know the whole plug situation with these engines is a sore spot for some. I don't know for sure, but heard they went to a one peice plug in the 5.4, and Guess I'm gonna find out.

I'm pretty sure they swapped up to a one piece with the newer trucks.. (09+) quite possible sooner.

My '05 had 2 piece design. had those swapped at 60k. no issue at the stealership. I think they hosed me 360 with parts, labour and taxes.

I did mine on my 07 last year. Forgot what I put in bocsh I think. All I remember was they were 14 bucks a piece. No problems with them coming out was a piece of cake. I'm running the 4.6 though

the only things holding you back are fear and common sense

They changed to a one piece in the later 08 models. Just changed mine out and from what I've read, I decided to go back to the stock plugs. Works fine.

I don't know about the 09+ trucks but from what I've read generally the best thing to go with is Motorcraft unless you're running some forced induction or serious mods.

Take a look the E3 plugs, proven performance, warr. for six yrs. or 100,000 miles, cheaper then the MotoCraft's, also a one piece plug.

Running just fine in my /06 5.4 .

Press on regardless!
