my first test tow with my 09'

I hooked up the 24' cargo trailer (probably 4500lbs.) and took it from the farm where it is kept and back to my place in Langley. When I dropped it on the the hitch there was almost no drop on my rear. It sat pretty near level. Hooked up the EQ bars and lifted spring bar on third link. Everything level. Put the tow haul on and adjusted gain on factory controller. Seven seemed to work the best. Hauled on some level roads and hills and the truck pulled great. No bounce, kept straight and handled beautiful. The 6 sp auto shifted smooth. Tapped the brakes and the engine retarder held me back. It was just a great ride and I am more than happy with this truck. Most comfortable seat I have ever had. No more back problem. It does not have the torque my 2005 6.0 powerstroke had but all I need. I was worrying with my 05' (when, not if) I was going to break down. Probably not but it is always in the back of your mind with those PS years. My 09' is a wonderful vehicle.
