Gas Mileage with new engine?

Just wondering what kind of MPG you guys are getting with your trucks? I've got the 09 with the 5.4L . I currently get around 22-23 mpg on the highway ( 115-120 kmh) with the superchips gas saver tune and the K&N intake. I'm really intriged by the new 3.7 TT , as I'm a man and want to have my cake and eat it too.

Are you using the Imperial gallon or U.S. gallon when you work our your mileage??

Theres a load of other threads on this forum already where people have stated their mileage which may help you.

Probably U.S. gallon then. I can't see Ford calibrating it for the Imperial one.

Then thats pretty damn good mileage!!

Unless someone else knows otherwise???

Ya, pretty happy with it. Just like the option of the twin turbo's, puttin down those kind of numbers stock, just image what a tune could do. I'm happy with the truck, just i have a wife so have to have a " business case" to justify a new truck..lol

What's wrong with knowing your mileage and comparing? I didn't see any complaints. He trying to justify more HP for himself, and better mileage for the wife.

Meh, why bother trying to justify it at all ? If you've got to justify it to the wife, you can't afford it.

You'll spend more on Tim Horton's coffee in a year than you'll save in gas, plus you might drop dead tomorrow.

Buy what you want and drive the hell out of it. Goddamn.
