Playing with the mad scientist.

So today I spent the better part of the afternoon working on a variety of projects with our local DR.
3rd brake light got a good coating of VHT on it and my bike got a new bracket for the tail light.

I also got a peak into the magic box of tricks.

If you don't mind me asking what type of bike is that and do you know of any good trails that you can ride and not get in too much trouble. I've got a 2009 klx250s that's got the 351 big bore kit added to it. They are lots of fun that's for sure

Nice. Third brake light really benefits from the VHT treatment, be patient between coats. Lol

I'm sure the resident Mad Scientist is well aware of this, as he has mentioned my previous lessons learned on this topic.

First pic is out of focus Grant, not trying to stir anything up at all.

One of the joys and limitations of cell phone pics for sure.

LOL

dont worry mike.
Craig just needs to apply a bit more buffing it'll be perfect.
but it looks pretty damn good as it sat when finished up.

7 ish coats on the outside.
3ish on the center..
light sanding of 1000 grit
3 coats of clear.
light sanding of 2000 grit
then some hand buffing & polishing compound.

The bikes a wr250r. I ride it everywhere. Trails in ganaraska forest to ride on, lots north of barrie, there is some near long point but I haven't explored them much.

Better pics of the third brake light tomorrow. Boy does it look much better now.
