Dealer suggestion

I'm in the east end of Toronto. Any suggestions regarding a salesman or a dealer that is reasonable. What to buy a new or one year old FX4 or Lariat. I bought the last truck at Yonge Steeles, they seemed O.K. service took hours of waiting time. I read about a sales guy at a Ford dealer on Kingston Rd here on the forum about a year ago, however I can't find the thread.

Young Steeles will be your best deal. They sell vehicles lower than other dealers. They suck for service and anything else!

If you want a good deal and a great experience go to Heritage.

If your up for a little road trip I suggest go to Blackstock Ford in Orangeville
They have awesome trucks there and all the lifts or lowering they do in house is fully covered on warranty.

Finding a dealer that works well with your particular wants and needs is pretty subjective, especially in the GTA, where there are so many to choose from.

You'll find people that love a dealership or salesman, and others who hate the same.

Good luck with the search, with the Employee Pricing incentives going on now, you could score a new FX4 with a tidy $13,750 discount.

thanks for all the info. Talked to a couple of people at East Court Ford, didn't get a comfortable feeling there, They were pushing a 2 year pay up front lease deal and pay the balance at the end of 2 years. I just wanted to buy the truck.
I went back to Yonge Steeles. Ordered an FX4 in Tuxedo Black Metalic, 5 liter, with 402a, moon roof, nav, spray in liner etc. About 6 weeks they say.
Good time to buy got $17000. off the MSRP, no real haggle to get it. They also provided life time oil changes and tire rotations, no charge.
My son is buying my 07 FX2, its only got 80,000 Km on it.

Can't argue with those numbers if you're in a position to buy....congrats, sounds like an order right out of my book. lol

How about gears ? Did you go with the optional 3.73's or the standard 3.55's ? ( Great that swapping gears is a no cost option )

Supercrew or Supercab ? 6.5' or 5.5' box ???

Six weeks is pretty standard when you're ordering, if your sales rep is keen he can also tell you the exact build date and ballpark delivery date once the order's in and he has a VIN.

Nice truck..
I would be doing 6.5 if I was ordering.
the extra foot is nice.

Depending if I was towing would be deciding factor for the rear end.
