F150 Atlas (concept)

F150 - ATLAS Concept Truck
Personally it looks too "pretty" to be a real work truck. I can see what they are trying to do, but it could alienate their core customers.

Thoughts ?

I think they will be various versions of it offered that should cover everyone's needs.

Kinda like the 2013's offering the HID lights as optional...if you don't want them or need them then you don't have to have them.

I'm loving the Atlas concept myself.

I like it from the outside. Undecided on the interior. It might be the seats that don't look right.

Just had a chance to watch the whole video, first time through I only got as far as the pop up ricer wing.

Random thoughts:

Interesting with the dual dumps out the back, as opposed to the traditional side dumps.

The designers of the Atlas obviously spent some time here on fordtough, as they blatantly stole Travis's idea of LED's under the bed rails. lol

110 V outlet at the back of the bed..nice touch.

Built in ramps are a great idea, but they looked to be so smooth that you'd never get any traction when they were wet/muddy.

To be perfectly blunt, hated the interior, thought it sucked balls.

Too much chrome and cheap looking silver plastic on the interior, instrument panel was vague, seats looked uncomfortable. Blech.

Speaking of chrome, too much chrome on the exterior as well, too blingy for my tastes.

Wheel styling isn't terrible, interesting that they appear to be installed with 20 or 22 inch BFG All Terrains. But what's up with those wheel louvers?

Front skid plate under the bumper is a baby version of the Raptor's...

Tail lights look like ass.

I think it was best described as "too blingy". Mind you the concept rarely ever looks like production model. So am thinking that by time it hits production it should be a bit more "user friendly" in looks and function

Mind you knowing Ford, they'll probably add the LED lights as a $500 option
