Power seat issue

Hello everyone. I have a 09 F150 with power memory seat. My issue is when I leave the truck and come back the seat does not maintain the rear height. I have the memory option off so it does not adjust when I shut the truck off but again when I return to the truck after awhile I have to always adjust the seat rear up. What could be the issue?

Welcome to fordtough.ca, thanks for joining us.

Not sure why you would choose to have the memory option for your seats off, after all the screwing around I do with my seat adjustments to get things just right, it's irritating as hell when someone moves it.

A simple push of the button gets it back where it should be. Regardless of what I'm doing…..

Does your seat drive or move when you shut the truck down ?

It almost sounds like the "Easy exit" setting that drives the seat back when the truck is turned off to assist exiting the vehicle.

Turned that one off in a hurry.
