305's wthout level-liftkit

Ok, i bet this was asked before, but anyways i like to put some 305 55 R 20 pirelli on my 2013 F150 Lariat. Dealer says i need a 2 inch lift on front,is that right??
Can i get by without a lift (don't want to make the truck higher than i need to) .
Or how big can i go without a lift???
TIA

I have Falken STZ/04 295/50/r20s and my truck has been lowered 2" front 4" rear . Not sure why 305s won't work .

Welcome to fordtough.ca.

I've seen some 2013's with the 2" lift in the front, actually looks pretty good, essentially levels the truck out.

Not an overly expensive mod, been considering it myself, it's very subtle and doesn't really lift the truck that much, but improves the stance.

The only thing I'm not too keen on is that ( I believe ) it's basically a coil spacer that achieves the lift, which is why it's cheap and easy.

Well a 315 def hits, even with a 2" level kit.
I think it's a 315/70/17 . Its 34.8" either way.

Don't like the spacers Mike? Go with the Rancho Quick Lift Loaded. Whole strut assembly with adjustable gas shock. Works very well on mine. They claim 2.5" but I think mine wound up being about 2"

Such is life. Just passing through.

305/65R17 M/T's on mine with the level. They clear no problem but if I lost the 2" they would rub. It's a 2009 though. All depends on tread and how big the tire actually is when on vehicle aired up

Hey Glen, not that I don't like the spacers, it just seems like a shortcut to me.

I'd go down your path and replace the strut assembly and shock before I'd do the spacers.

No offence to anyone who's running them, but why spend all that cash on a brand new truck, and then go half assed with suspension components ?
