It was time..

Well guys, it was time to trade the truck in.

With the wife off with the new born and us wanting/needing to buy a house.. The amount I spend in fuel could be used for housing..

So traded the truck in for a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL.
I debated 4cyl, V6 or V6 AWD.

the mpg between 4cyl and V6 wasn't a huge difference, but the AWD dropped it too much for me.
So I decided to go with a V6 FWD SEL model.

I found a nice 2012 SEL V6 w/ 29K in Mt Brydges

So I will have a couple things up for sale shortly.

Hate to say it Travis but you are going to miss your truck especially if these winters keep coming like this but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Such is life. Just passing through.

I already miss the truck. I just keep reminding myself the gas I will save and what the extra money will do for us.

I plan to get another truck. Hopeing 5yrs, but may take 10. Depends on if wifey goes back to work when our newborn goes off to school.

Fusion's a nice ride Travis, congrats, sorry to hear you'll be letting the truck go, but the next one is always right around the corner if things change financially on the home front.

Investing in a home is the best thing you can do for the family, better to pay your own mortgage than someone else's, so you've got the priorities straight.

Don't be a stranger round these parts.

I'll still be on and off here don't worry.
I've still got 2 cents to throw in whether you like it or not.
