Blacking out Grill/Bumpers

Hey everyone,

I am new here, and to forums in general.

I recently bought my first vehicle which is a 2009 f150. XLT super crew 4x4.

Lately I've been looking at my options for blacking out the chrome of my truck.

I am starting with the grill, and was wondering if the black grills from the Fx4 and other models would fit my 2009 model?

Besides switching up the grill what are some other suggestions for black out the grill and bumpers as well.

thanks a lot!

Welcome to the site. Keep your sense of humor handy and enjoy. Your best bet on black out is plasti dip available at Home Hardware

Such is life. Just passing through.

Once again, I'll echo Glen's thoughts - do a quick search on the forum for Plastidip, there's a few build threads where guys have used it to black out wheels, bumpers, grill etc.

Never used it, but it looks great from what I've seen form the pics others have posted.

Another plus is its removable if you dont like it after awhile you just peel it off. And it's on sale Friday and Saturday at performance improvements.
