Wipers wont shut off

2012 XLT, wipers will not shut off, they stay on the longest intermittent setting when the switch is in the off position. I am guessing that the MFS is at fault. Has anyone else had this problem, if so what was the fix?

For a 2012, my fix would be a stop at the dealership, sounds like warranty work to me.

Its past the bumper to bumper warranty because of KMs, but thanks for the help anyway.

It ended up being the switch on the signal light arm or multi function switch as ford calls it. I was pleasantly surprised buy the price and ease of install. The part was $52 and it only took 20 mins to install, very easy.

Wow, yah, I was a huge help, must have missed you being out of warranty in your first post.

Glad you got it all worked out, sounds like you had your own answer anyway.

Sounds like a new switch fixed the problem for the OP, there's your solution, or at least a staring point.

Good luck, here's hoping.
