Remote entry batteries

Anyone remove the standard CR2032 battery and replace with two CR2016 batteries? Did it make the range better?

Stacking two CR2016 connects them in series and would double the voltage. That might fry the remote.

A fresh battery will boost range but don't go using batteries of different voltages. While cr2032 and cr2016 are the same voltage they do have different current ratings. Don't use them in series. A good cr2032 (ie Duracell) are not expensive.
