Ford just added this promo. I called as I get our truck next wknd and apparently if I want this,, the truck is $500 more as sync is not free then. But then I get $1000 of accessories to choose. HMMMM another decision

got that on promo on my '07. Take a look at the accessory pricing, you will not actually be getting a grand worth of stuff. My mud flaps were almost $200 .

contacted dealer to ask for a exact price list. I pay $500 more, but get $1k of stuff,,,,, in end if its worth $500+ then its a deal. Maybe I can put the $1000 towards the maintainance plan of $1400 which makes my cost $900? That would be a good deal in my books for that 5yr plan!

The dealer will have a list of accessories available and the prices for them. I can guarantee you that the prices have been increased huge. I was in the same boat last year when they offered the $1000 of accessories. I ended up taking delivery of my truck after the promotion was over (I got 0% financing instead) and I couldn't believe how much the price for the accessories dropped after the promotion was over. The $1000 of accessories is only about $500-$600 in true accessories given the price increase.

Actually, I got a call from the dealership today and they said I could use the $1k as straight cash towards the truck ... so I actually am getting an extra $500 off the vehicle !!! Cant wait to get it

My better half (who works at local dealer) told me tonight that if you take the $1000 in accessories make sure you use all $1000 b/c if you only use part of it you do not get the remainder in cash. So either use it or loose it.

Personally I think taking the $1k towards purchase price, then buying the accessories after market is likely the best idea .... but to each their own

going in to dealer to find out about it today,, but doubt they will go for putting it towards purchase. Its in there best interest to make u use it towards high priced accessories.
Was told free sync is removed from deal if I take the accessories deal, so I have $500 to spend as its already in the vehicle.

not to mention most of the accesories they sell dont come installed so you have the extra labour charge to put the item on the truck...

2007 F350 6.0L Ext cab short box 4x4
2000 F150 5.4L Reg cab short box 2wd

Back from dealer,, and to get the accessories deal I had to give up the free sync and pay for it or use part of free accessories cash towards it,,, which I did. Had $500 left and must use towards accessories only. Hard folding tonneau was $1069 so took that, as the best price I could find online in U.S was $618 U.S shipped to a U.S address. Install was $85 which I declined. Will install myself. So I saved a bit on the cover vs getting it in U.S. Most of other accessories I have as the fx2 comes with lots of the stuff. Get the truck next week.
