In early February of this year, we shipped out our 2010 F150 Raptor down to California, to test our supercharged Raptor somewhere that doesn't have snow on the ground everywhere. I invited some friends from Finland to come too, including Harri Rovanpera, a former WRC factory rally driver. We were based out of Kore Racing's shop, a factory backed Dodge off road Baja race team, who we build engines for.
Quote:
Initially, we tested with our 600hp configuration, which includes a Shelby GT500 engine, transplanted into the Raptor, with a HD aluminum radiator, and upgraded boost level. We also have installed a 4R75W 4 speed automatic transmission, filled with custom parts to ensure durability up to 800hp.

Having satisfied ourselves with the results of our testing, we have now upgraded the supercharger to Kenne Bell unit, at 15psi on 93 octane, we are now pumping out 750hp. The truck is now in a container, headed for the American Car Show in Helsinki Finland, and then on to St. Petersburg Russia for another auto show. Out new 6.2 Raptor test truck arrives in two weeks, and we begin developing parts for this new engine package.

Do you really think the 6.2l is only going to loose 14hp from the engine to the wheels?

15% of 400 is 60, add aditional hp loss due to the 35" tires and lift you are probobly looking at a true 320/325hp truck at the wheels with the 6.2l.
Still miles better than the 5.4l's true numbers but a "speed demon" by no means...

Slap a super charger on the 6.2l though and...
