Unhappy New truck ownership may be short lived....

As much as it hurts, My lifelong dream may be extremely short lived and I may have to sell my brand new 2010 FX4 F150 Screw.
Financially I am trying to figure out my best options, Sell it to a Ford dealer or any dealer or sell it privately.
The truck is not even a month old ( to me ) it has approx 1650 kms on it. Since I've owned it, I have had the 6.5 box line-x'd and I have had the truck undercoated and rust proofed.

Any suggestions on my options. Thoughts on how much of a loss I may incur.

This is the truck.
2010 F150 FX4 SuperCrew
- FX4 Luxury Package
- Heavy Tow package ( hitch rated to 11500lbs ) Plus all the other goodies in the package
- Tailgate Step
- Line-x Spray liner
- undercoating
- rust proofing

Dave

edit to provide more details.

why u selling it? - may need to sell it for financial reasons
is it purchase or lease? purchase - title is clean
buyout? - none
does ford have a 60 day return policy like GM? not that I know of. I contacted the dealer I bought it from via email, he answered me once, and then stopped replying. I'll have to call him.

Damn !! that sucks when life takes a dumpin.......

Had it happen to me early '80s when interest rates were 22% on new vehicle loans. Took a bath on my 81 F100 and paid for years !

Hope with the new dealer policies you can find a resolution without need of taking a huge swift kick in the....... wallet.

One of the major reasons i stick to 2 vehicles that are 2 years old when i buy, sticker shock is less , warranty probably still good for a while and if you have to resell you don't get hammered.

Sorry to hear man i hope it works out

Keep posting your truck - I just bought the same truck 2 months ago.
If It was now I would buy yours ! However - these prices on new trucks we may never see
again ! I mean - I have the orig sticker (left in glove box ) I got almost 14 k off of list !
Ford is making $ - Unions want more money now - prices r sure to go up !

i like how everyone craps on the unions when our raises dont even equel out to the 3% per year cost of liveing increase those who dont fight for there wages make the same $ and yet pay more per year on stuff....

hope you can sell your truck and not take much of a loss, was there no extra insurance through ford if you lost your job/got sick and couldnt make payments where theyd make them for you i think for up to a year ? and just tack them onto the end date of finance ? when i financed through ford back on 2000 it was part of the contract then it was just an extra insentive maybe they droped it.

Thanks for all the input guys,

The original dealer I contacted and got back to me with an "appraisal" that they would be willing to pay for the truck. LOL, I'd let it sit in my laneway before I do that to myself. I called another dealer locally to me, and he told me the same thing, I'll lose big time.
Ford does not offer any insurance or 60 day satisfaction plan or anything like that.
...life takes its ups and downs....this just happens to be one of my downs I guess.
If you guys here of someone looking for a mint 2010 FX4 as listed in my original post, please feel free to send them my way or PM me.

the truck also has the hard folding tonneau cover as well.

Since I am keeping it for now, I may add side steps to it so I can get in and out of it easier.

Thanks again
Dave.
