Squeaky / Creaky Rear Suspension

My new 2010 F150 XTR is making a horrendous squeaking noise form the rear suspension. Sounds like a 10 year old truck. When I step on the rear bumper to flex the suspension it creaks. Also when the truck takes of from a stop or comes to a complete stop you can hear it creaking. Also speed bumps are a nightmare. I had it to the dealer last week and they greased the pads between each leaf. I did see on another site a TSB for this problem but it applied to 2009 trucks. Seems to be an issue with he clearance between the spring clips and the leafs themselves. Anyone else experiencing this?

Did you have the truck rust sprayed??? I had mine done and all of a sudden had an alfull noise from the rear end. The dealer blamed it on the rust proofing and said dirt was traped between the leaf springs due to the rust proofing and after swaping them out the noise went away to date.

Almost 10K km's on our 2010 XTR (pretty much identical to yours rootem if I recall, even the same dealer, LOL), and not a peep out of ours yet. We even had the extra rust protection undercoating package applied as well. I don't know what to tell you, but I hope they figure it out soon for you.

UPDATE: Truck into dealership yesterday for squeaky / creaky rear suspension. Three hours later they call to say parts are on order and that my truck is ready but I will have to bring it back in. Parts include new leafs and shackles and hardware. Basically a new rear suspension minus new shocks!! Not good for a new truck with only 2000kms on it. Oh yeah and I also got them to change the oil since it was in the shop. The service girl looked at me like I had three heads and stated that an oil change was not required until 8000kms. I asked her is she brings a knife to a gun fight....it's called preventative maintenance honey!!
