Box liner and tonneau cover

Hey all,

Just bought my new F150 XTR 6.5 box 4x4 being built on Aug 9th. I was looking at getting the box sprayed liner and a retractable tonneau cover. Any recoomendations on which one to get and good stores in the Ottawa region.

My 2010 Ford Ranger FX4 got sprayed with Armaguard at a local truck accessories dealer. Line-X is very popular, but there were no local dealers...nearest one was at least 4 to 6 hours away.

Heard horror stories about those roller type tonneau cover getting stuck in winter in cold temps.

Personally, I am considering the Truxedo Low Pro QT (soft cover low profile), Access Literider (soft cover), Extang Solid Fold and Bakflip G2 (both are folding hard covers). Then I will be adding a Pop and Lock tailgate lock.

I had my Ranger line-x'd and absolutely love it!

I'm also on my second truck with an Extang tri-fold, you can't beat it for quick access to the entire bed.

Get the spray in Liner (lineX) - NOT from the dealer ! They wanted $ 699.
I got it for $ 505. directly from LineX. Also - If you have a problem - I believe you will
have better luck presenting your paid receipt to the company - then through the dealership.
Just my opinion

The Line X is great
Try Van & Truck World for a tonneau, I think they have a store your way.
I've bought from the one in Guelph, prices were good

Roll-up covers are great! Have a care in the cold weather if you undo it ,it'll be a struggle to button up again.I've had mine for seven years now and its holding up better than me.

Tried unsuccessfully to install the Truxedo Low Pro QT on my 2010 Ranger. The header at the front of the bed is a bit too wide (1/16-1/8 inch)...won't squeeze it between the two cover rails. I think that it's due to the factory bed caps on the bed rails. Shoot!
