Found a baggie..Tow pkg?

In my drivers door panel that has what looks like a relay and something else but it doesn't look like a fuse. I am thinking that this is for the trailer charging system with my tow pkg. If so where do these go?

After some further cross referencing of the owner's manual, power box and bag contents I answered my own question. Sorry guys.

There should be an installation sheet in the bag. Pretty self explanatory

well I guess the bag remains under the seat. Didnt think it was that hard of a question. My bag doesnt have instructions as the truck was a demo and they were removed.

Hmm. mine came with an instruction sheet. It's really easy to do, the owners manual has all the fuse and relay locations, I didn't even read the instructions I just used the owners manual.

Mine didn't have the instruction sheet either. Just the bag with part # AL3T-15A416-AA. I opened up the hood and the Power Distribution box is in front on top. Open that up and put the relay in #9 and the fuse in #21 otherwise your trailer battery will not charge.

I figured that would have been installed by the factory or dealer but I guess not.

Your actually better to leave the fuse out unless you need it because having that pin live on the bargman plug will greatly speed up corrosion on that pin of the plug. You will notice that the first one to corrode as it is will be the running lights pin because that is the next pin thats live most often (unless you only drive in the daytime and ride the brakes alot )
