Mine was like that from day 1. (2010 SCAB XLT/XTR 4x4)
Since being a retired Ford employee, and having "seen it all", I assumed this was normal (poor quality).
I read on the other site where someone let the dealer R&R the windscreen to do the repair.
I took mine back to the dealer, and insisted that they R&R the dashboard, rather than touch my factory sealed window.
They complied.
In the process, they broke a piece of the dashboard while doing the repair, and my truck was detained one extra day for the part to come in.
No problems since the fix (May '10).
And, no hassle about having it repaired the way I specified.
It came up on the work order as a 5.2 hour job.
No charge, and I also got a free oil & filter change out of the deal.
That's what I call customer service.
Eastgate Ford in Hamilton, FYI.

I just ordered my FX2 from Eastgate. Good to know that the customer service doesn't stop on the sales floor. I was extremely happy with my sales guy (Ron Jegeris), I'm glad the service department is showing some class too.
