Prev. purchase but new rebates apply?

Hi,
Does anyone know if the new rebates offered on new F150's can be applied to one I ordered but have not yet taken delivery of?
I ordered my XLT in August from factory. Since then, they've brought back the Costco discount and bumped the Ford finance to $1500. Will the dealer honour these new additional discounts?

Depends on the dealer, but I'm guessing not. Incentives come and go, and what you commit to when you buy is what you get, otherwise why bother with a time limit on the deals?

you can take advantage of the better of the two incentives that are available to you at time of order or time of delivery.

did you sign a bill of sale?
Are you liable for the truck? aka do you need to take it when it comes in?

If not, then I'd say you would get the current incentives that are present when you take sign up the paper.s

+1

I had this option for both of my new car purchases this year.

When I ordered my truck the dealer told me that I was guaranteed the deal at the time of ordering and if a better deal was offered when the truck arrived they would give me that deal.

Check with your dealer...

If the current deal is better they will give it to you. It does not cost the dealer anything.

I'm ready to order an '11, but I'm curious about this process.

If I order an '11 this month with Employee pricing, but when November rolls around and I take delivery, there's better financing available then what's the deal? Would I have the choice of:

1. Employee pricing with terrible financing,

or

2. Paying MSRP with the new financing?

There's no way I'd pay MSRP regularly, but if Ford follows Dodge with 0% then it might actually work out cheaper.

What I'd like to do is work out a deal now ignoring the Employee pricing just in case the financing is way better.
