Polarized Sunglasses

OK, here's an odd one...

I'm currently awaiting delivery on my new 2010 FX2 SCrew.

I need a new pair of sunglasses now, before it gets here.

In the past, I've had trouble with polarized sunglasses making the LCD radio display in previous vehicles difficult if not impossible to see.

Is this an issue with the radio or dash displays on the 2010 F-150s?

Your answer your looking for is NO, my prescription sun glasses are polarized and I have no problems seeing any of the dash or radio.

I wear polarized sun glasses too and I have a hard time seeing my XM radio display and any LCD displays.

Might be because my glasses are cheap.. I don't know!

There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.

On the new 2009-10 trucks (f150) the dash lights are blue and so is the radio, on the older trucks they are greenish and harder to see. Just my 2 cents worth

Nah, it's just the way LCD displays work. They have a polarizing filter on them. You'll probably notice that if you tilt your head 90 deg. while wearing the glasses, the display becomes opaque, or gets brighter.

Try it with a digital watch or a calculator, it does the same thing.
