Summer Tires

Well I was on kijiji today a normal sunday morning for me and found me some summer rim/tires for my 2010 truck. Here is some pics of them

Figured for the price I couldn't go wrong, tread will probably last me a summer. But beats running my stock lug tires.

They look alright,... now you just have to give them a good polishing

lots of "good" auto polishes available at CT and other places..... Autosol is good one, but whatever you use, finish it up with some "jewelers rouge"..... that makes any polished metal or chrome really "pop"....

Northern yes they are a directional tire, and thanks I like them just hope my truck likes them lol. Once I get them polished I will do another set of pictures, may just install them on the truck so I can see how she's gonna look and for pictures also.

Nice setup. You got lucky with the size too. If your originals were 275/65-18s, then you're speedo will now read 0.2% too fast. So if your speedo reads 60, you're actually driving 59.9...good enough for me.

If your originals were 275/55-20s, then you'll read 0.3% too slow. Still pretty damn good.

The only slight issue would be if your originals were 265/60-18s. That throws out your speed by 4.9%. That could make a difference if you normally drive 10k or so over the limit. 110k on the speedo is actually 115.4. You might want to keep that in mind.

Hey PitCritter my stock tires are actually 265/70/17 so do you care to do the speedo thing again (lol) pretty sure I was told the 20's will run almost the same as my 17's now
