I saw that vid also.
Pretty sweet!

I bet a programmer, exhaust, intake tubing, and some decent tires that that would be in the 13's.

Well, I've decided that my next vehicle will be a new 2011 F150... the eco-boost and SYNC are deal sealers for me. My only issue is which trim. I prefer the Lariat over the FX4, but when I check out the towing capability (30’ travel trailer) on build and price on ford.ca, the FX4 has a 1600 lbs greater capacity the Lariat?
Does anyone know why that would be?

Because the FX4 comes with the 3.73 rear end as standard equipment. You can always add the 3.73 (or get the Max Tow pkg which includes the 3.73) and that will give the extra capacity in the Lariat (or any trim level for that matter)

2010 XLT Screw 6.5 box XTR pkg, 5.4, bike hauler
2010 Mazda 3 Sport, Black mica, commuter duties
2008 Kawasaki ZX-6R - race ready (track duties)
2002 Honda Foreman 4X4, 26`ITPs, mud toy

Excellent... I was planning on the Max Tow package anyways (as the wife is getting trailer envy again). 9300 lbs tow capacity should be more than enough for my needs - current and future. If I'm towing more than that, I'm looking at 3/4 ton anyways.

So, was the 3.73 standard on the Lariat for 2010? I see the tow capacity there is the same (slightly more than 2011 at 9600 lbs).

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm going to be a very happy boy within 6 months...

I'd like an '11 FX4 with a 5.0. If I could I'd go Harley 6.2 though.

The 11 Harley Edition looks like a beautiful Truck but it will sticker at just under $70 grand. Way to steep
