WOW! You didn't shop the aftermarket? I just had a peek on rockauto.com and the most expensive rad hose for either of the motors is $35.

The Hauler - '05 F-350 4x4 CC Dually 6.0 Powerstroke
The Project - '90 Ford Bronco 4x4
The wife's - '11 Ford Escape

I'm pretty sure you can get almost any part aftermarket over the Internet. Mercury Sable was a popular vehicle. Failing that, you can probably make the part with radiator flex hose:

It comes in various lengths and diameters. Last time I checked, they're around $15, or so.

If Princess Auto were a real girl, I'd ask her to marry me.

if you would see this hose it goes under the water pump and it goes in the back of the serpentine belt its not one of the main hose its made in steel and its really weird shape the shop said their is no way that it could be made it is flated so it goes behind the belt and has weird curves in it

You got me curious, so I Googled it. Does it look like this one?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-99...item2314824d75

That does look pretty weird. Almost like something you'd find on a Japanese sport bike. Yeah, I guess it would be pretty hard making a replica of that.

I guess every vehicle has got it's version of my Mazda's $125 plastic mud flap. They're like booby traps, waiting to bite us in the ass!

If Princess Auto were a real girl, I'd ask her to marry me.

I have not got one thing local for my truck anywhere near the price online in the US. i can wait a few days to save hundreds of $$

Well Gilligan you must be on an island. Order through the interweb and save yourself some head aches. You were hosed down by your "stealer"!
