2001 F-150 7700

I'm the new owner of a 2001 F-150 7700 series as of Friday. It needs a little bit of work but it was a great deal. I was in the market for a 4x4 ext cab and this one popped up for sale. I may have a need to be able to tow a fifth wheel camper in the future for my in-laws and this one is already set up for it.

The truck most recently was used by a local kitchen and bath installer so it was quite dirty and the tailgate is pretty beat up. Nothing a little elbow grease can't fix! I'll probably end up getting a replacement tailgate at some point.

Noce looking 7700. I looked at one quite seriously before buying my 2004 scab. Tailgate looks like it was drug behind the truck at some point. There was a tailate for $100, if memory serves, on kijiji not to long ago.

There's a complete flareside bed up for $300 that I'm half considering. I do hate the flaresides but its a damn good price... I'll take another look for that tailgate, though.

Good looking ride, congrats ! I agree with avoiding the flaresides...they're alright on the right truck, but not my first choice for sure.

This tailgate may be to far away to be feasible for you:

Damn, its even the right colour! Yeah, Dartmouth is just a wee bit too far away. There's actually someone locally selling two tailgates. A black one for $150 and a white one with dents for $100, both off of F-250s.
