Blast from the past.....

Came across some old pics and scanned them into the computer, thought I'd share.

Amazing how far technology has come, and not having to get photographic films developed anymore.... certainly makes things easier and faster with the digital cameras.

So.....here's a few pics of some of my previous rides scanned from old pics, feel free to add your own to the thread.

Each one of these were a "first" of one sort or another.

My "first" car...... a 1977 Nova with a 250 cid straight six, TH350 transmission and 2.73 rear end gears.

Never left me stranded, great car, still miss it.

Incidentally, the grey was not factory. I had it painted a Dodge colour of all things, but I really liked it.

My "first" Ford .... a 1998 F150 XL 4x4 I bought used as a lease return, had 68,000km on it when I got it. Haven't bought anything but Ford ever since.

My "first" brand new vehicle.... 2004 FX4, the day I brought it home.

And a couple of years later....yes, I'm a Jeff Gordon fan. lol (My "first" personal plate)

Love the Nova! Had one myself...'76 SS...I miss it. I know you asked for pics of it and I can't find any that are worth scanning. So I'll be asking some old friends if they have any shots. I plan on buying a '69 Nova in the next few years.

that was a popular car way back, 76 250 6cyl was one slow beast in a 1/2 ton even with a 3spd manual.

I had a 76 Ventura 4door with a 260 olds V8 , and what I thought was a BW T5, but was an older model BW5spd. cool old car. (kept the trans)

feels good to clean out those old GM skeletons eh?

I wish I would have taken more car pics when I was younger, I used to change vehicles 3 or 4 times a year.

I had a Nova, WAY back in the early eighty's. That good looking young dude on the left is your's truly. It's hard to believe I could get better looking with age.

It was a Howe offset chassis with a King built 355. Flamboro outlawed it after 1 season. I raced Chebby's for a while. Then I could aford a Ford. Never looked back.
