Cool effects make for a great pic.

Is that all photo editing software, or a setting on your camera ?

I've seen a few pics like that posted....WTH is that called ? HD or something ?

Thanks! It was a single RAW image edited in Lightroom and Photoshop. You are referring to HDR. This is the same kind of thing, only with one picture. Basically I darkened the sky and foreground and added some clarity to the truck. Also added the lens flare in Photoshop. HDR usually uses 3 or more pictures and combines them.

This is HDR. I don't like it. I do like the effects on your picture. Nice Job!

Ya I'm not a huge fan of hardcore HDR..kinda looks too cartoonish. I'm more into "exposure blending"...makes for a bit more realistic looking shot (just more detail in the highlights and shadows)

Hey Gerry, what's the 58 in the background? I used to have a 58 Impala 2 dr hard top back in my late teens. ( I think I remember)

Such is life. Just passing through.

Its a 58 Impala Convertable, 348, with a glide. Just like it rolled outa the showroom. It belongs to a friend of mine. He was pissed that I parked in front of it. I guess it's because Henry made it look real bad..................LOL

Great Picture. Killarney is a beautiful place. Went for a 6 day interior hike/camping there with a buddy 10 years ago. 100 km trail. In 2005 we did a small canoe./camping trip
