i did crank the torsion bars for the lift but i didn't use the stock bolts, i use a modified longer bolt so i had more thread to crank in b/c my stock bolts only got me 1.5" of lift. i could maybe get another 1/2" outta the bolts but its good where its at right now.

So if you were to put 8" rims the tires would look wider? Maybe not enough to pop out of the fender lol but for more surface area

Some lift, some tires, and a winch

if i got differnt rims that were 8" wide it wouldn't really make it wider but the off set would push it out more so that it wouldn't rub on the inside which in turn would make them stick out past the fender or come right flush with the fender. Ruggedranger has my old rims from my last ranger and they have the proper offset for a larger tire and it sticks out past the fender.

i did it and i've been driving on it now for little over a month now and have been out wheeling and road triping with it like this and haven't had any problems. I don't notice a stiffer ride really but my ass isn't one that requires a cadillac ride so if it did get a little stiffer i'd never notice, i like my truck to ride like a truck.
