Stainless cat-back

Well, got her sounding proper today. Cat- back ( well, close to the cats anway) 3" res-delete to MagnaFlow 3" out to straight out the back. He is still custom fabbing 4" tips for me so still 3" going straight out. A little more drone than I was expecting, perhaps due to the aluminum being less sound dead in than steel? Anyhow, turned out great. If anyone on here is looking into custom stainless exhaust let me know- can't beat his price and quality of work of a friend if mine , he owns a stailess-steel fab business so he's an expert when it comes to stainless - He custom fabs stainless headers for race cars, has doe over 200 stailess exhaust and most importantly LOVES what he does..he was just as excited to hear the initial start-up ad I was..lol

Nice! Which muffler?

I put the SI/DO 14" 5x8 on this summer and love it.

Same one . Did you leave the rest on or remove?

This is the second muffler setup I had on there, the first one was Flo-Pro that rusted out after about 5 years and ran out behind the tires, this setup is the Magnaflow and runs straight out the back.

To answer the question though yes everything before the muffler is still factory.

Switched up the 3" stailess exiting the rear of the truck with 4" stailess. We went back 26" I believe, and exit past the underside of the trialer hitch about 4" or so, which is about 2" past the bumper. It was strictly a cosmetic mod, as now it looks " finished" But the sound did improve a little. ( nice rumble at low idle now)
