2015 5.0 gas milage

Have to say this truck blows me away..I'm not sure what others are seeing but this picture shows someone's lie-o meter @ 10.7/l 100 km with the cruise set at 132..apparently the only mods on whomever's truck this is are tonneau cover, exhaust and K&N Filter.?
My 2015 fusion titanium with the 2.0l turbo AWD would get between 8-9l/100k at the same speed.
Just wondering what the ecoboost guys are seeing?

I've read some posts on other forums of guys with the 2.7 Eco getting in to the single digit L/100km, high 20's for MPG.

My dad has never reset the meter on his 2011 5.0 and in the winter it's steady around 14L/100km and in the summer it drops to 12ish mostly highway driving.

That 10.7 is cummulative for the trip, not what it was getting at that moment at 132 km/h.

My 3.5L Eco 2015, after 15,000 km, was averaging 11.4 L/100. Most of that was highway driving with cruise set at 124 km/h

My 3.5L Eco 2016 is still too new to know for sure, but thus far is giving me 14.1 L/100. But that includes some hard driving testing the "sport mode" feature I'm hoping that by the end of April I'll have the numbers down to 11-12 L/100 range.

Either way its definitely MUCH better than the 2010 5.4L V8 I had previously !

I average highway driving 10.7 to 11.8kms per liter with my 5.0L. In the city I average between 6.9 to 8.0km per liter. I have not done the L/100km yet.

But, from Brampton Ontario to Clearwater Florida, only 1 and 3/4 of a tank one way.

So much better then my pervious 5.4L.

Hey guys I just signed up so I could post on this. I have a 2016 5.0 and its only got just over 2000kms on it, I'm only getting 18 L/100km.

I do work really close to home and it's 90% city driving but based on what you guys are saying it should be better. I did hear that after the first oil change the mileage gets way better so I'm hoping that's all it is, because as it stands no matter how light footed I drive I can't seem to do better that 18!!

It's the short trip and city driving that hurts it combined with being new. The motor and trans are still learning how you drive so give it some time it will get slightly better but the city driving is what is really killing the gas mileage.

Just turned 7000km on the odometer. I was getting high 10s/low 11s on mine (50/50 highway/city), even after the first oil change at 5000.
Had the transmission reflashed as I was getting that harsh downshift from 5th to 4th at the 50kph speed. Now I'm getting high 11s/low 12s. Average on the truck is 12.4L/100 (I've never reset trip 2), but smooooooooth shifts. ;^)
