Ya I use the waze app. Tells me of police. traffic. Hazards on road. If I'm speeding or red light cameras ahead.
It's connected to my head unit. No holding a phone in the air.

Hey.
lol
all in good fun.
it's mainly for fun and not needed right now. we thought of downsizing our home and property but decide to stay hence the new truck. got a few projects to do that it will come in handy.
just figured that if I did eventually get around to getting a radio I'd already have a few ideas
thanks for the laughs though.
Glenn.

Better than shaving your pubes and combing your hair straight. Unless you're into that sort of thing.

They used to have a glass mount antenna that worked half decently, you can still be charged using a CB just like a phone, can't win for losing

Not 100% true

Unlike CB or mobile radios (two-way radios), devices like hand-mikes and portable radios (walkie-talkies) do not have a microphone connected to a separate receiver. These devices may not be used as hand-held devices, but may be may be used in a hands-free manner. Drivers may use a lapel button or press a button on the device to transmit or receive voice communication as long as the hand-mike or walkie-talkie is mounted or secured and is not being held while driving.

Depends on the provincial legislation. Each province is different. Before using one on public roads, while driving, please ensure you are aware of the legislation in the province you are in.
