CB Radio Install 2015+

Hey
well I would like to ask those who have the 2015+ with the new frame how did you install the antenna
I'm looking to get another cb radio as I did in my 2010 Ranger but that set up had the magnetic mount .
I would rather not drill any holes and trying to keep it as simple as possible .
any ideas
if you don't mind pics of your setup would be great.
thanks
Glenn.

Mag mount will not work... why not run a sigle or dual fiberglass whips from the steak holes of the box?
Just an idea.

They are great for getting traffic updates along the way... Also, great for road trips with friend and off roading.

Also, great for asking where speed traps are.

OK.
hahaha
so Blairtruck what your saying is take the chance and hold my smart phone in my hand while driving and risk getting caught by LEO and risk getting a large ticket?
having the radio is mainly for traffic and as I live outside city limits the chance that my phone dies or something I'll have a back up for the just incase.
Plus while on the hiway it is comical to hear others commenting on other drivers from time to time.
for the others who gave ideas thank you and yes mag base won't work.
maybe I'm going to look into the under hood mount.
we'll see.
Glenn.

Glad someone said it. I was going to bite my tongue. My Garmin GPS gives me traffic updates and how to avoid them with no risk of getting pulled over. CB radios are obsolete.

a simple piece of angle iron bolted to the box rail behind the cab would provide a magnetic mount base easy enough

might want to paint it well so it dosen't leave a brown spot though

I haven't been on a CB radio in 10 years. At that time it was pretty much us,was in Canada. In the states yes it was active, but now it m gonna guess even less, also now who drives most big trucks out there anymore, just saying I'm English I can't understand any other languages
