Regular or Premium Fuel??

Just bought a 1995 F150 with a 5.0 from the original owner. The truck only has 100000 kms and is in mint condition. The original owner always ran regular fuel since day one but I've always run premium in everything I've owned. My question is, if I run premium, would there be any I'll effects? Pros, cons?
Thanks

Is the engine stock?

If so,.. I'd run regular. If engine isn't built to run on premium. aka performance wise. Personally I think you'd just be wasting money.

Regular unless it's chipped with a premium fuel setting in the chip. Otherwise you're just throwing money away. I run premium in my 96 5.0 but I'm chipped and my motor is just a little built up lol

Hey Jim so you say your truck is chipped is that all dressed or dill pickel ( lol )
But I'd run regular gas just cause the truck has run on it and there is no sence tossing money away on premuim. Now if you do a bunch of upgrades to the motor to increase power than you may wanna change gas. Just my thought
