NP435

Hey all....

I'm located in Ontario. Question:....I read that the NP435 4 speed manual is the cat's a$$ ! Best years were 1980 to 1990...is that right? If so, anyone know where I can get one on the cheap? Looking for a rebuild project...4x2 or 4x4..doesn't matter!

It is an awesome tranny. The NP-435 also has bragging rights, with the lowest first gear ratio of all the domestic trannies...that being 6.69:1. I have one in my '80 and it has 450,000 km on it, without ever being opened up. I also have a spare one, but sorry, not for sale as I'm selling truck with all my "spare" stuff together.

If you're still lookin' then I've got one. NP435 from a 1978 F-250 4x4.
