Slave Cylinder

Hi everybody, it's my first time, be gentle.
I have a 1995 F150 4X4 5.0L Manual with 210 000km.
This morning the slave cylinder went again, for the 5th or maybe 6th time. I love my truck, but this slave cylinder b.s. is driving me nuts!
I had it replaced 2 times while under warranty (only 50 000km back then). Every nearly every brand has been used; Ford, Raybestos, Blue streak?, Napa and I forget what else.
The damn thing is internal, so it's far from an easy replacement. Is there any possible retrofit? Or will a tranny with external slave cylinder from the 250/350 family fit somehow? I know somebody with a 1996 F350 with a manual, and he's never had a problem. Even if he did, it would easy enough to replace.
I even call Ford customer service (Ford Canada) when it was still under warranty. They called the dealer that I always went to for EVERTHING, and the came up with a politicians answer thanking me for my loyalty and promising to "work with me on this issue". Which amounted to ZERO.

Any ideas, please help

welcome to fordtough.ca,it's quite uncommon for the slave cylinder to go that often, does the truck sit alot and the cyl seems to mess up in the cold weather more?if so you may want to flush the fluid more often.

a moments silence for the shelbyx,i hope her new owner enjoys as much.

when you've removed the previous 4 what kinda condiction were they in, like as in what failed, eg: piston poped out, piston seal, lost fluid. Where they all the same failure?

1995 F150 5.8L 4x4 completely stock with big o 31" XT tires. 190k and $1000 couldn't say no. Yes the cab/fender/box are cancer'd but hay its gets me around

Hi Guys, since 1999 it only goes 16km round trip, Mon-Fri, and it sits on on weekends unless I go fishing or if the wife an I have different places to go.

I have not changed them myself, but as far as I remember, the mechanics have said it was leaking.

Thanks for answering.

Any ideas where to look for info on whether the transmission from the 250 and 350 would somehow fit in the 150?

Thanks again
